Joe C is an experienced artist and tattooer currently working in upstate New York. He has travelled extensively in the United States and Canada where his work has been celebrated in books and magazines for his precision detail work and vibrant colors. Joe’s success and reputation has resulted in invitations to participate as the featured artist in studios throughout North America. 

Joe's fine art works intertwine his personal style, employed in his tattoos, with the Asian tradition of using ancient techniques and materials, such as sumi-e and it washi paper. His work is also influenced by Japanese woodblock or ukiyo-e.  His watercolors on silk scrolls are particularly notable, often depicting zoomorphic figures like dragons or fish, always true to an aesthetic influence from Japan or China.
